Levana School - Climbing wall sponsored by support group
The pupils at Levana School, the school with a focus on holistic development in the district of Ahrweiler, are very happy about a new acquisition in their school playground. As part of the school's quality program on the subject of active learning, the playground should also encourage more movement and activity. The school's active support group has now made it possible to purchase a climbing wall with a donation of 1000 euros. It was handed over to the pupils by the board at a small ceremony and inaugurated immediately. Without the financial resources of this committed association, many purchases that support the school's work would not be possible. Examples include financial support for the redesign of the Snoezel room, the purchase of digital cameras and, last but not least, the subsidization of school trips. The social commitment of the Förderkreis is particularly evident here: no child should be excluded from joint school activities for financial reasons. The Förderkreis also runs two school buses, which enable pupils and teachers to attend the weekly swim at TWIN and other places of learning outside the school grounds. As the majority of its aid activities are funded by donations, the Levana School Support Group is dependent on sponsors.
