Hands-on circus delights young and old on Levana Day
Every year at the end of the school semester, the Levana School, a school with a focus on holistic and motor development in the district of Ahrweiler, celebrates its school's name day. On this day, the school community takes center stage and celebrates itself with special offers and activities. This year, the hands-on circus of the Experience academy from Rheinbach and encouraged young and old to be part of the circus themselves and try out various activities. Clown Nils and his companions performed various little tricks with a lot of humor and skill and motivated the pupils to do the same. It wasn't long before almost a hundred pupils were actively testing their skills on the tightrope, spinning plates or juggling with balls and scarves in the gymnasium, which had been transformed into a circus ring. The particularly daring dared to walk over broken glass or stand on a nail board. In no time at all, circus time was over and everyone met up in the school foyer for lunch. To celebrate the day, the pupils requested chips and currywurst. After a short breather in the schoolyard, the excited school community greeted their classmate Lea Weber, who appeared in full regalia and was proclaimed Student Princess Lea I in the presence of her parents. Another highlight at the end of the afternoon was a disco where many pupils danced and celebrated together. At the end of the day, everyone went home tired but full of the many great events.
