In February, pupils from our school had the opportunity to take part in a cooking and art project at the HoT (Haus der offenen Tür) in Sinzig.
We met at the Vieux Sinzig restaurant every morning for five days to plan our work over fresh croissants and brioche.
Our chefs, Mr. Jean-Marie Dumaine and his wife Colette Dumaine, were great hosts and guided us very empathetically and patiently every day. By lunchtime, we had prepared so many delicious dishes that we had a great selection at the buffet every day. And so we were able to taste and enjoy dishes that we had never tried before.
In addition, everyone had the opportunity to take part in Stefanie Manhillen's art project, so that a large table decoration was created at the same time, which served as the dinner table on the final day. With a little help, our students came up with their own ideas, and so on the last day, all participants enjoyed the final meal in a special setting.
We would like to thank you very much for this great time together and look forward to seeing you again!
It tasted good and thank you for letting me be part of it
