Once a week, the pupils at Levana School, the school with a focus on holistic and motor development, have their workshop day. Here they learn about various work and production processes. In the run-up to Christmas, florist Carola Freund (Blumenhaus Freund from Ahrweiler) took time out for the Werkstufe 3 pupils to help them create fir tree arrangements for the upcoming school Christmas party.
Under her expert guidance, the pupils learned how to wire pine cones, orange slices and baubles and how to arrange the decorations on the fir branches.
The pupils worked with perseverance and joy, became increasingly skillful and developed their own ideas, resulting in a very beautiful, festive table decoration for the Christmas party.
At the end of the school day, both the pupils and Ms. Freund agreed that we would certainly work together again. (M. Meyerhoff)
