Since the autumn vacations, Lower School 1 at Levana School (a school with a focus on holistic and motor development) has been working together with a class from the neighboring Don Bosco School (a school with a focus on learning and language) to develop a black light theater based on the fairy tale The Three Robbers as part of a cooperation project between the two schools. The two classes met once or twice a week to jointly develop a black light theater from the fairy tale and rehearse the play. The pupils from the Don Bosco School designed all the props for the black light theater themselves and rewrote the text into a play. With this equipment, they worked together with Lower School 1 on the implementation on the theater stage, rehearsed persistently, developed suggestions for improvement again and again and incorporated them into their play. The pupils were very motivated to work on the project, contributed lots of great ideas and helped each other in learning tandems with one pupil from each class.
On Monday, December 13, 2010, the play premiered in front of an enthusiastic audience. Due to the large audience, the play was also performed on December 17 and 20 in front of the parents of the pupils and other classes from the Levana School and the Don Bosco School.
The pupils from both schools got to know each other better and better during the project and had so much fun together that they would like to repeat such a cooperation project.
